The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 257

She gritted her teeth and admitted, "Yes, he's my ex-boyfriend of two years!"

Before, when he asked her how long she had been with her ex-boyfriend, she was puzzled. How did he know she had an ex?

Now it made sense. He already knew about her story with Leopold.

If it meant getting rid of Lysander's pursuit, she would boldly "admit" she liked Leopold!

Being Lysander's woman was no simple matter.

She learned that the hard way on a stormy night five years ago.

Moreover, if she became his woman, they would be around each other a lot. If he discovered her secret, that would be disastrous!

When Thalassa admitted her feelings for Leopold, Lysander's face turned icy. He grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her face close to his.

Their faces were so close she could see the pores on his skin. Their breaths were mingling.

Thalassa tried to push him away, her heart pounding wildly.

Lysander's face was dark. He lifted his chin slightly, his lips brushing past hers. His voice was cold and domineering. "His body isn't yours, and yours isn't his either, Thalassa. Don't test my patience. I've told you that your body belongs to me."

His cold, oppressive aura, along with his words, pierced straight into her heart.

Thalassa felt a pang in her heart, and she anxiously said, "Mr. Sinclair, I've told you. That night was a misunderstanding."

"In my world, there are no misunderstandings!" Lysander retorted coldly.

Once she became his woman, she could only be his woman!

He wouldn't allow her to have any physical contact with other men.

Thalassa was scared by his intense gaze, her voice trembling. "Mr. Sinclair, I don't want to be your secretary, nor Leopold's. I'll leave both of your companies and never show up in front of you again. Can you let me go?"

Lysander smirked, his face icy. "Apart from the Sinclair Group, no other company will hire you."
