The next morning, Thalassa got up while her kids were still snoozing.

She hopped into the bathroom to freshen up. She grabbed a slice of bread and dashed out the door, munching on her breakfast and telling Evelyn, "Mom, gotta hit the road."

"Why are you in such a hurry, sweetie?" Evelyn asked, concerned. She watched her daughter rush out.

Thalassa didn't respond and quickly disappeared into the elevator.
