The trousers were far too long, and she had to cuff the bottoms to be able to walk comfortably.

Once she was decent, she opened the door, ready to head downstairs.

At that moment, a maid happened to pass by, carrying a glass of water and a single pill. She approached her, saying respectfully, "Ms. Everhart, Mr. Sinclair instructed you to take this pill."
