With a sickening "snap," his pleas were cut short.

The chubby man let out a squeal like a pig, agony radiating from his now broken wrist.

He collapsed on the ground, convulsing.

The bodyguard hoisted the chubby man up from the ground and dragged him off.

Thalassa was ushered into a resort hotel by Bruce. It was off-season, so the guests in the hotel were sparse.

The hotel wasn't far from the mountain where she'd been snatched. A short drive and they had arrived.
