The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires novel Chapter 1503

It felt odd, to say the least.

But for his brother's happiness, Abigail was a sacrifice he was willing to make.

After Aurora left, he slumped back into the chair, replaying their conversation in his mind.

It dawned on him... he and Felicity lacked that spark, that cozy couple vibe! Even more, he had to admit, seeing her with Calvin Hoffman, their bickering and teasing seemed more fitting for a pair.

The thought of Calvin tightened his expression.

A rival five or six years his junior made him feel petty, almost childish for being bothered.

But then, his phone rang.

It was the front desk from Trust-E Hotel.

“Mr. Lopez, a gentleman just carried Miss Felicity into the hotel and they went upstairs together!”

Silence followed.

Now, Miles understood what his sister meant earlier—

Focus on your stuff, then chase after Felicity!

While he was swamped with company issues, Calvin, seemingly with all the time in the world, could afford to entertain Felicity with dinners, games, and leisure.

Taking a deep breath, Miles stood up, grabbed his car keys, and headed out.

His secretary, seeing him leave, hurriedly asked, “Mr. Lopez, your meeting starts in an hour!”

“Have the lead manager handle it for now.”

“But…”

Miles gave her a stern look, “What, the company will fall apart without me?”

Without waiting for a response, he rushed to the elevator, heading to the parking garage.

Halfway there, he tried calling her. No answer.

After three attempts, still nothing. His mind was racing with images of Felicity and Calvin together, doing what he and she had done the night before...

Veins throbbed at his temples.

Miles’s gaze darkened as he decided to call his father.

“Dad, are you busy with work these days?”

“Not too bad, what’s up?” Everett Lopez’s voice was deep, betraying no sign of his age.
