Leopold took a sip of coffee, his eyes sharp and probing. "So what?"
Aurelia plopped down on the couch, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I need to consult with Arno about who would be the best to shoot the ad. I'm pregnant now and can't be on ads by myself."
Leopold's brows furrowed, his expression immediately turning cold.
He got her point.
"You're considering Arno for the advertisement?"
"What else can I do? The other team stole our spokesperson. I have to bring in the best production team."
Aurelia spoke matter-of-factly, "You've always been one to separate business from personal matters. You care about the result, not the process. So, you shouldn't have a problem with this, right?"
A hint of fire flashed in Leopold's eyes.
She was making the first move, leaving him with no room for objection?
He never imagined that the hardest maze he'd ever have to walk would be this woman's tricks!
"Do you think I'm easy to fool?"
"Why would I dare to fool you? The person who could possibly do that is still in my belly, not yet born."
She rubbed her belly, a playful glint in her eyes. The only one who could surpass the big boss would probably be his child.
Leopold couldn't help but feel both annoyed and amused. He walked over, cup of coffee in hand, looking at her from above, "And if I don't agree?"
Aurelia pointed to her slightly swollen belly, "Mr. Leopold, sibling rivalry isn't healthy. Shouldn't you be setting a good example for the children?"
