The reason Arnold was an orphan was due to the reckless actions of that woman who ended up bringing about her own demise.
When their father was alive, he had always supported Arnold under the table, even leaving all his private assets to him.
His elder brothers were not downcast, so why should Arnold be sad?
"The situation between Arnold and me is none of your business."
Aurelia stuck out her tongue, "I know, I have no place to interfere. I just don't want Mr. Leopold's personal vendetta to affect my game plan."
Leopold took a sip of coffee, his expression inscrutable, silent for a long time before he murmured, "I can make an exception once, but if you lose, it's because you are not skilled enough."
She breathed a sigh of relief and smiled slightly, "We can only do our best, the outcome is up to fate. There will be no regrets as long as we have tried our best."
After work, she went to Celestial Savor.
In the morning, Arnold sent her a message on WhatsApp. He had returned to Elysium, so she booked a private room at Celestial Savor and invited him for dinner.
"Nydia will be looking after Avery during this period, not only for filming but also for some variety shows. You can rest assured about that."
"With a big tree like you to lean on, what's there to worry about?"
Aurelia gave a soft laugh, and changed the topic, "Do you know what day it is today?"
Arnold was slightly taken aback, he took out his phone, opened the calendar, and saw nothing special.
"What day is it?" He asked curiously.
"It's been exactly 1200 days since we met," she said with a smile, her eyes gleaming like crescent moons.
Arnold's gaze faltered slightly, as if a small stone had fallen into his heart lake, causing ripples.
"I didn't realise you remembered so clearly."
She giggled, revealing a row of white teeth, "Didn't you forget what Avery said? The best trait of us, the Hawthorne family, is our good looks and excellent memory."
He was, after all, the first man who made her heart flutter. Although the little crush was a thing of the past, memories were always beautiful.
Arnold started laughing.
