The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 1175

"Hope your eagle eye is up to the task," the voice on the other end of the line dripped with sarcasm.

"I'm not keen on your face I've never seen. If you're my blood, take off that mask. Otherwise, you're just a fake, not my real brother. After all, if we look so much alike, why the need for a disguise? That's just useless, isn't it?" Skyler retorted.

Geoffrey snapped back, "What I choose to do is none of your business. You should listen to your elder brother, not the other way around."

"Well, unless you take off that mask and let me see the real you, I'm not spilling any beans about Tanya," Skyler stood firm.

"Enough chit-chat. See you Saturday. And if you dare to feed me false information, you're toast," Geoffrey threatened.

Skyler made a face at his phone. They would see who was toast.

In the backyard, Aurelia was lounging in a deck chair, soaking up the sun and nearly drifting off to sleep.

A large hand gently rested on her slightly rounded belly.

The man bent down, kissing her forehead tenderly, his eyes full of adoration.

He'd never imagined he could love a woman so deeply, and yet, no amount of love seemed enough.

Aurelia opened her eyes and smiled, "Back already?"

"Missed you, babe," he replied, settling beside her and capturing her lips in a tender kiss.

Aurelia chuckled, "We've only been apart for eight hours, you know?"

"Any time away from you is too long," he said, burning his gaze with intensity, his voice soft as a whisper.

He had become a complete doting husband, turning down all overseas business trips to stay home and shower her with attention.

Aurelia suspected he might just be a bit too pent-up, a little too eager for a sex.

Now past the critical first trimester, they could cautiously resume their intimate life.

Catering to her husband's needs was important for marital harmony.
