"Alright, hang around here for now. Oh, wait, I doubt you'll be able to hang around much longer. Since you're of no use, the Stirling family has no room for you. Get ready to be thrown out and fend for yourself." Lisbeth said, turning on her heel and striding away.
Agent A felt like he was at the end of his rope.
"Even though I have no clue where he is, I've got ways to find out. Give me the antidote, and once I'm out of here, I'll track him down."
Lisbeth fell silent for a moment before pulling out a vial of antidote from her pocket, "This will temporarily ease your paralysis, effective for five days. After that, you need to come back for another shot, or not only will the paralysis return, but it will be worse."
Agent A clenched his jaw, determined not to be outwitted.
It was a trap, clear as day, just waiting for him to tumble in.
"You're all so damn cunning."
"So are you," Lisbeth snorted, "Did you think we'd be foolish enough to give you the antidote and let you waltz out of here?"
Agent A had mixed feelings, "You play a hard game."
"You better find out where Raines is within these five days, or you might not get your next shot," Lisbeth enunciated her threat with chilling precision.
Grinding his teeth, Agent A shot back, "Do you think you'll be sitting pretty when Raines comes back? You're a traitor, betrayed his trust, and sold him out. He'll despise you with every bone in his body. The first thing he'll do when he's back is make sure you're taken care of."
Lisbeth shrugged, "Doesn't matter. I've braced myself for whatever comes. No matter how much he hates me, I can take it. All that matters is getting him out."
"You're digging your grave," Agent A spat out, "You'll save him, he'll dump you and find someone new. You'll lose everything. And when that happens, the Stirling family won't lift a finger for you. They'll just show you the door."
"Don’t waste your time stirring things up. Aurelia and Leopold know what's up with me. No matter what goes down, I won't sink lower than you."
