The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 1277

Lisa swung by with Nova in tow.

Playing solo at home was not proving to be enjoyable for Nova; she found herself yearning for William's company. So, Lisa decided to drop her off for a playdate that would last a couple of days, right up until the family reunion over a hearty weekend. After the festivities, Aurelia would escort Nova back home.

"Nova," William scooped her up into his arms and planted a smattering of kisses on her rosy cheeks. Nova, bubbling with delight, flailed her tiny limbs and puckered up, returning the affection with equal gusto, "William, William."

"And what about me, your sister Mira?" Mira chimed in with a giggle.

"Hungry sister," Nova lisped adorably.

Nina burst into laughter, clutching her sides, "Hungry sister? Spot on. You could say she's always peckish, munching from dawn till dusk."

Mira stuck her tongue out at Nina in jest, "You'll never understand the epicurean life."

Skyler took Nova from William's arms, whose slight frame was not quite up to the task of carrying her upstairs. That was a job for Skyler. Together, they headed to the study.

William suggested a game that would send shivers down their spines, a spooky version of hide and seek dubbed "Hunt for William."

Mira tilted her head, her eyes wide with curiosity, "So, you hide, and we seek, right?"

"Yep," William nodded, setting the stage for their eerie adventure on the dimly lit third floor, crafting the perfect atmosphere of suspense.

"This doesn't sound scary at all," Mira snickered.

"Who knows, we might even bump into a ghost," William said, a mischievous grin playing on his lips.

"I'm all for it. I love a good scare," Skyler clapped his hands eagerly, always up for a heart-pounding thrill.

The gang gathered on the terrace to count down, with Nova standing in her baby walker. Clueless about the game's mechanics, she was nonetheless ecstatic to be in the company of her siblings, giggling and clapping away.
