The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 451

Leopold froze, "What? I changed my name?"

William tilted his head up at him, mischief twinkling in his eyes. "Henry VIII, I heard everyone calling you that. Why would you change to such an awful name?"

Leopold choked, lifting his hand to ruffle William's hair gently. "That's not me, you heard wrong."

"Oh." William scratched his head. "Well, who is he then? Do you know him?"

"No idea, I don't know him."

A bead of sweat trickled down Leopold's temple. If it were a bigger kid, he would have seriously suspected they were pulling his leg. But a three-year-old with such cunning? He chose to dismiss it as child's prattle.

William stuck out his tongue playfully. Uncle Leopold definitely knew, he was just being coy.

"Henry VIII is a love rat..." He whispered as he climbed into the car.

The soft, lisping voice reached Leopold's ears, causing him to choke. This kid, not only had he inherited all of Aurelia's cunning, he seemed to have even more of cunning.

In the car, Kane and Aurelia sat together, and William plopped down next to Leopold.

"Uncle Leopold, why did you leave us yesterday?"

"I had something to do." Leopold replied nonchalantly, finding the boy a bit chatty.

William nodded sagely. "Good thing you did. You would have been upset seeing how popular Mr. Cooper was at our house."

Upon hearing these somewhat pointed words, a noticeable change came over Leopold's face. He asked, somewhat incredulously, "Your dad wasn't upset?"

"Dad will always be number one in our house, Mr. Cooper is second." William never forgot to stand up for his dad. He then lowered his head and sighed, "Uncle Leopold, your ranking is questionable."

Leopold held his forehead, pinching the little boy's cheek lightly, "Ever heard of the phrase 'latecomers will surpass'?"

"You're already on the blacklist, how can you surpass anyone?" William crossed his arms, pouting, "I was ready to accept you as my stepdad, but then you turned into Henry VIII. I'm very disappointed."
