The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 463

Emma cast a sneer at Susan and said, “The fortunes of the Hawthorne family are all due to my cousin and her brother, nothing to do with Ritchie. Even if you worm your way into this family, you won’t see a dime. You’re just a plaything to him. You’d better think twice.”

Susan was stunned. Wasn’t she suffering a double loss?

“Ritchie, you absolute bastard!” Enraged, she lunged at Ritchie, punching and kicking him. She didn’t care about being the mistress. Love was nonsense, morality even more so. Money was the true ruler.

Who would play the role of a mistress for love? Wasn’t it always for money?

If there was no money in it, it would be a bolt from the blue.

Ritchie, annoyed by her assault, mustered his strength and pushed her to the ground.

“My stomach! It hurts!” Susan cried out in pain, clutching her belly. A pool of blood began to seep from between her legs.

Ritchie hastily dialed for an ambulance.

Susan had miscarried. She had secretly undergone an abortion before, and her body hadn’t fully recovered. Another miscarriage would cause severe damage to her uterus, making it difficult for her to conceive in the future.

Emma decided to divorce Ritchie. They quickly settled the paperwork at the municipal office, with Emma gaining full custody of their children.

When Ritchie was heading to work in the office building, a woman with flame-red hair stopped him, “You’re Aurelia’s cousin, right? She’s sitting on a mountain of money and you’re stuck here working as a security guard. That’s just not fair.”

The woman’s words resonated with Ritchie. Aurelia was always an ungrateful girl in his mind.

“Lady, are you Aurelia’s enemy?”

The woman whispered, “If you’re willing to help me, I can introduce you to high society and ensure your financial freedom.”

Ritchie scratched his head and said, “I’m not about to do anything illegal.”

He’d been in prison once before. It was such a terrible place for a criminal. He didn’t want to go back.

The woman patted his shoulder, comforting, “Don’t worry. It’s all minor stuff.”
