The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 643

"So if a guy marries the wrong woman, he's toast," William said with weary wisdom, letting out a sigh, "I don't like Lisa, but she's a saint compared to the wicked witch, Megan. She doesn't cling like a simp, and she's got her head on straight."

Aurelia gently stroked William's hair, silently agreeing with him, and she didn't want Arnold and Lisa to split up.

"Lisa's going to stay with the baby at Elysium. You'll have to make an effort to get along with her," she encouraged gently.

William blinked, confused. "But isn't Dad going to divorce her?"

"Lisa wants to give the baby a real family, with a mom and dad around," Aurelia explained softly.

"I miss our home in Goldstone," William mumbled, casting his eyes down. Those were his happiest memories.

Arnold's heart ached at William's words. He dreamed of bringing Aurelia and William back to Goldstone, to relive their happy past. But times had changed, and that dream seemed impossible now.

Setting aside the issue with Leopold, Aurelia couldn't just forget about Kane.

Even if Aurelia agreed to reunite with him, they would have to stay in Elysium to keep Kane safe. Returning to Goldstone was out of the question.

Aurelia caressed William's hair again, "Sweetheart, Elysium is our home now. But if you miss Goldstone, how about we take Kane and spend Christmas there? You can catch up with all your friends, okay?"

"Really?" William's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Can I come too?" Skyler chimed in eagerly.

"Of course. Our place is huge, and there's room for everyone," William beamed.

Meanwhile, Leopold's grip on his glass tightened from a nearby table. He was sure Aurelia was considering a reconciliation with Arnold.

If Arnold's divorce went through, he knew Aurelia's heart would lean towards Arnold.
