The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 647

Leah furrowed her brow and heaved a long sigh, "Gosh! How could Leopold do that to you? That's not cool."

She could tell that Leopold had broken Aurelia's heart.

Aurelia's expression gradually turned serene. "Never mind. I’ve never pinned my hopes on him, anyway. Let's go with the flow. I only want my little Kane to grow up safe and sound. That's all that matters."

Leah felt a pang of sadness, thinking, “With all her beauty and kindness, why did Aurelia’s love life have to be so tough?”

"Aurelia, do you think you'll make up with Leopold? Or are you going to choose Arnold?" Leah prodded.

"They're both married now, and I won't choose either," Aurelia shrugged nonchalantly.

Leah flashed a mischievous smile. "Then why not go for Elvis? He's the most eligible bachelor in the socialite scene right now."

Aurelia chuckled. "Melissa has her heart set on him. If I went for him and she got wind of it, the poor girl might have a meltdown and threaten to do something drastic. I couldn't be the villain of the Stirling family, now could I?"

Leah choked on her words. Aurelia was so good-hearted that she always put others before herself, even when it was about her romantic prospects.

"Elvis isn't into Melissa at all. He's not going to marry her," Leah insisted. But Aurelia had never considered Elvis. Aside from Leopold, she doubted she could love another. Elvis was a catch, sure, but he deserved someone who truly loved him.

"Isn't this supposed to be about you? Why are we talking about me? Don't worry. Avery's not the kind to love them and leave them. Once he's set on someone, he's all in."

Leah blushed. "But Avery doesn't like me that way. I'm just not his type."

Aurelia wrapped an arm around her, replying, "Avery's a responsible guy. If he wanted to date someone, he wouldn't want to hide it and make her feel bad. But going public means making an enemy of a million fan girls. He's scared of the fallout, so he wouldn't show it even if he did like you."

Leah lowered her head, sighing softly, "Aurelia, you know, Avery doesn't like me. He just sees me as a little sister."
