The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 676

Skyler twirled the lollipop in his mouth. "I've got a friend. William is... he's my best buddy. We hang out every day. And there's Aurelia. She often comes to see me and brings me all sorts of yummy treats. Aunt Tanya, you can head on back to Eastwood Heights. Don't worry about me."

Hearing this, Tanya felt like she was exploding inside. They say there's a special bond between mother and child, but this little rascal didn't seem to spare her a single thought but just wrapped up in his fun. He was an ungrateful little ingrate.

She had poured so much of herself into him, but he had made no progress. Would she have to resort to playing her last hand?

Leopold clapped Skyler on the shoulder. "Skyler, let's take a stroll in the garden. It's blooming like crazy out there."

"Sure!" Skyler jumped to his feet. He didn't like hanging around Tanya. She made him nervous.

After the two boys took off, Tanya started to reminisce.

"Jessica, are you still holding grudges about the past?"

Jessica waved her hand dismissively. "Let bygones be bygones. Why dredge them up again?"

Tanya knew her sister hadn't had the easiest time in the Stirling family.

If they had exchanged roles, Tanya would have cleaned out all the vixens circling Chad, not leaving room for someone like Magnolia to strut around.

A woman must be ruthless to secure her place.

Her sister was only ever harsh to her, treating those homewreckers like friends.

"I know things have been hard on you these years. I did want to stay and help you back then, but one misstep led to a lifetime of regret. I was too young and too easily tempted."
