Arnold had also noticed something off about Avery, an indescribable air of anger had passed quietly over his face.
"The girls you saw last time, one of them is Leopold's fiancée, the other is..."
He purposely stopped, letting the silence speak volumes.
A chilling glint shot from the depths of Leopold's eyes.
Arnold flashed a cryptic smile, "I just don't want you to be misunderstood."
Avery understood, the other girl was the one his sister referred to as his unforgettable first love.
"So, Mr. Leopold is the infamous playboy?"
Aurelia choked on her milk, almost spraying it out.
There's a clear difference between a playboy and a man who's only interested in one woman.
"Avery, you've just entered the show buss, how did you become so gossipy? Shut up and eat your breakfast. No more talking."
The color of Leopold's eyes gradually darkened, an icy chill forming.
"Do I seem that idle to you? That I'd waste my time on women?"
"Of course not!" Aurelia shook her head vigorously, waving her hands in panic, fearing his anger, "Mr. Leopold is no playboy, I can vouch for that. He's busy managing a thousand things, he doesn't even have time for vacations. We're going back to Elysium after this, right?"
Leopold gave her a look, "You're coming with me. We'll have a meeting in the car."
Aurelia rolled her eyes, "But I'm on vacation."
"It's canceled," he stated coldly.
Aurelia wished she could just drop dead on him, making him regret his words.
"My brother is going bungee jumping today, it's dangerous, I need to stay with him."
Arnold's leisurely voice chimed in, "Avery is Aurelia's beloved little brother. It's his first time bungee jumping and he's afraid of heights, how can she leave him?"
