“Good. Crying it out is better than keeping it to yourself.”
Justin pinched her wet cheeks. “Both of you should calm down tonight. Tomorrow, we’ll make time to see Amelia to have another talk. We will think of a suitable plan.”
Even if the whole world did not understand Bella’s consideration and efforts, he would.
Bella, who had become a crybaby, rubbed her eyes and whined, “I’m hungry. Cook something for me.”
Justin placed his right hand into a fist on his chest and his left hand behind his back, transforming into a handsome and graceful butler.
“As you wish, my lady.”
……
The next day, Justin and Bella returned to Hatchbay to look for Amelia.
However, they received the news that Amelia had not come home at all. Instead, she contacted Celeste, saying she had urgent business to deal with at her university and would be staying at the dorm for a couple of days.
Bella and Justin looked at each other, confused.
Amelia had already graduated and moved her belongings back home. They could not figure out what urgent business required her to stay at the dorms.
“Bella, what’s up with Amelia? Did anything happen?” Celeste asked nervously.
“It’s nothing, Aunt Celeste. Justin and I wanted to take Amelia on a trip to relax, but we didn’t expect her to be busy with something else.” Bella did not want Celeste to worry, so she brushed it off.
“Bella, if you could spare some time to take Amelia on a trip, I’d really appreciate it.”
Celeste’s concern was visible on her face. “Since Charles was released, Amelia has been losing sleep over the past few days, and she doesn’t eat much. Although she said she’s fine, I know that she must be suffering inside.”
