In Savrow, the size of the Hoffman Group’s office building was second only to that of Salvador Corporation.
This towering skyscraper had thousands of rooms. The thought of them confining Carrie in some secret chamber, enduring unknown horrors, made Ryan’s fingers tremble violently.
Pain shot through his nerves, spreading to his limbs and torturing his nearly shattered heart.
Liam would not reveal where he had hidden Carrie. He wanted to torment Ryan and make him feel the anguish of losing his most cherished treasure. He wanted to make Ryan furious and resentful.
But what baffled Ryan even more was Yasmin’s extraordinary skills. She could easily handle ten or even twenty men. She had a gun and would not even hesitate to kill Liam’s men when necessary.
How could Liam’s underlings breach Ryan’s home, extract Carrie from Yasmin’s protection, and bring her to the Hoffman Group without anyone knowing?
“Have you checked the surveillance footage?!” Ryan’s voice was rough as he sped through the hallways.
Following closely, Dean gritted his teeth. “I’ve checked them. None of the surveillance cameras captured any trace of Young Madam. Whoever brought her here knows the Hoffman Group building inside out. It must be an inside job!”
“It’s likely collusion between insiders and outside forces.” Ryan’s hoarse voice dripped with bloody hatred as he dialed Yasmin’s phone. “Otherwise, Liam couldn’t possibly pull this off!”
To his dismay, he found Yasmin’s phone turned off.
Ryan’s heart clenched, cold sweat covering his body.
The situation was even more dire than he feared.
“Dean, gather everyone... Search the building room by room! I’ll reward whoever finds my wife with a lifetime of wealth and glory!”
Ryan shouted these words from his aching chest, his pale lips trembling, and his breathing completely erratic. “Also, call the police. Yasmin is in danger!”
Dean responded quickly, “Yes, Mr. Hoffman!”
