The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge (Anna and Justin) novel Chapter 1807

When Justin and Bella returned to their room, Justin recounted everything he knew about Zoe and Bethany.

He could have kept it to himself and dealt with it privately, but he was well aware that hiding things from his wife was a grave mistake. Angering Bella could result in her withholding affection for days or even weeks, a thought that was unbearable.

Bella listened quietly, but her beautiful eyes narrowed, emitting an intense, chilling light.

“Carrie has endured so much and suffered so greatly. Her own sister, Bethany, is largely to blame.” Her voice was dripping with anger.

In the next moment, she grabbed a teacup and smashed it on the floor.

Justin’s heart tightened as he quickly took her hand, checking it carefully and soothing her gently. “Bella, getting angry harms your health. It’s not worth it to hurt yourself over someone like her.”

“Even though all fingers are not the same length, Bethany is like an extra sixth finger, a genetic mutation.” Bella’s usually sweet and clear voice was now hoarse with anger. “How can two people from the same womb be so different? When Shannon was pregnant and forced her way into the family, didn’t the old man do a paternity test? Is Bethany really a Salvador?”

Justin’s expression darkened. “Grandpa did a paternity test back then. The results showed that Bethany is indeed Gregory’s daughter.”

“Didn’t you watch TV dramas? Paternity tests can be faked, and doctors can be bribed. Shannon managed to hide the fact that she killed someone for twenty years. What can’t she hide in a paternity test?” Bella’s thoughts ran wild, her imagination conjuring up all sorts of scenarios.

Justin’s fingers slipped under the back of her collar, gently caressing her soft skin. This calmed him down. He wasn’t impatient or dismissive. He had the same suspicions but had been too overwhelmed by other matters to give it much thought.

“Right now, we need to deal with her collusion with the Hoffman family and the framing of Carrie,” Justin said, his arm wrapping around her waist and his hand wandering over her curves. “What’s your plan, my dear wife?”

“Taking down Bethany is easy. Without Shannon’s protection, she will fall quickly.” Bella leaned into his embrace, her red lips curving into a cold smile. “But we need a way that will hurt her without harming us.”

“Bella, do whatever you need to do. Don’t worry about the Salvador family. I’ll handle it.” Justin’s eyes were resolute as he looked at her.

Bella shook her head slightly. “Exposing Bethany’s misdeeds would make the Salvador family follow in the Iverson family’s footsteps. Even if we don’t think about you, we have to consider Grandpa Nigel’s feelings. No matter how disappointed he is in her, she is still his granddaughter.”

Nigel valued family bloodlines deeply, especially at his age. Having just gone through the ordeal with Carrie, he couldn’t take another blow.

“The best outcome is for her to confess on her own. But we need bait.” Bella chuckled, her eyes cold and calculating. “She thinks she’s won a great victory. Let’s give her a bit more surprise.”

Justin smiled, holding her close. “I trust you, Bella. Let’s make sure she gets what she deserves.”
