The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge (Anna and Justin) novel Chapter 1873

It did not feel like a divorce, more like a group of bandits raiding a village!

The servants thought that Liam, a notorious money-grubber, would jump up in anger and lose his temper.

Unexpectedly, Liam merely said, “Got it.”

He looked indifferent as he headed upstairs.

However, his unusual calmness sent a chill down their spines instead.

Liam received a call from Selena as soon as he walked into his empty room.

“Liam, you’ve been discharged from the hospital and are about to migrate overseas to live out the rest of your days. Shouldn’t you hurry up and finalize the divorce?”

Selena mocked him, each word stabbing him in the heart. “There’s no point for you to drag it out. The longer you drag, the more I can’t control my mouth. If anything got out, it would only make your situation worse.”

Liam pulled out a fruit knife from the coffee table, carving words on the expensive table expressionlessly. “Selena, we’ve been married for many years, and I’ve never mistreated you in any way. I didn’t want to come to this point. I still have feelings for you. Can we discuss the divorce agreement? You’re almost stripping me bare. I’m still a son of the Hoffman family; leave me some dignity.”

“Pfft, dignity? You’re now disabled and have lost your shares and power. A useless person like you should be grateful for being able to live. Do you still need a luxury like dignity?” Selena’s tone was full of resentment and disdain. “All these years, I was your wife legally, but you never once looked at me properly. You fooled around outside, treating me like a decoration!

“That’s fine, but you hid your azoospermia from me and blamed your infertility on me! You made me bear the brunt of Logan’s displeasure for decades and become the laughingstock of all the rich housewives in Savrow. They say that I’m a hen who can’t lay eggs!

“Liam, if you weren’t from the Hoffman family, do you think I’d marry you?! Without the Hoffman Group, you’re worse than a beggar on the street. I’ve been waiting for this day for too long! Tomorrow afternoon is your final deadline. If you still don’t sign the papers, I’ll confront Logan. By then, I can’t guarantee that I won’t say anything detrimental to you.”
