Bella and Justin exchanged shocked glances. Although they had always believed that Aaron’s arrogant and self-important nature would eventually lead to his downfall, they had not expected it to happen so soon.

“Ralph, was it your people who were tracking Aaron that led to his capture?” Bella asked curiously.

“No, we received an anonymous tip that led us to Aaron’s warehouse, where the illegal drugs were hidden. And that’s not all—we also found two bodies of the Southern Star Syndicate members on one of Larson Group’s ships near the warehouse dock!”

The couple’s eyes widened in shock.

“The bodies had been frozen, so they were well preserved and hadn’t decomposed. It seems the plan was to use the cargo ship to smuggle them out of the country for disposal. After all, Savrow is crawling with our police surveillance and cameras. Disposing of two bodies wouldn’t have been easy,” Ralph’s voice darkened. “We conducted autopsies on the bodies immediately. Bella, picking up on his thoughts, quickly added, “And not only that, but you also found bodies on a Larson Group’s ship nearby. It’s all too convenient, isn’t it? It feels like someone’s orchestrating this.”

“Bella, it does seem coincidental, but one thing is indisputable.” Ralph took a deep breath, his voice heavy with seriousness. “Larson Group is currently the largest supplier of illegal drugs that we’ve uncovered in Savrow. Not only have we raided their hideouts, but the warehouse employees and Aaron’s personal secretary have also confessed to their involvement in the illegal drug trade. However, they all deny having killed anyone or hidden bodies, and they claim they have no idea where the two corpses came from. We’re still investigating this.”

“Yes, Aunt Mila is very kind. After all, the Larson family is where she was born and raised, and she was once the most cherished daughter of Old Master Larson.” Bella’s voice wavered with emotion, her eyes stinging with unshed tears.

“Some media outlets have already caught wind of the Larson family’s situation. By tomorrow morning, the news will be everywhere. Even if they don’t break the story, our police department will release an official statement within the next couple of days. The higher-ups are very concerned about the illegal drug issue, and Aaron has basically walked right into our trap.”

Ralph’s tone shifted, becoming firm and resolute. "The evidence is overwhelming. Aaron has been involved in the large-scale distribution of illegal drugs, which has led to multiple deaths. Even if those two bodies have nothing to do with him, he can’t escape responsibility. He’ll be facing a long prison sentence, if not worse.”

“Aaron’s downfall will certainly prompt a response from Old Master Larson and Alvin. They’ll do everything they can to protect him.” Bella squeezed Justin’s hand, worry gleaming in her eyes.

“Justin, stay in Savrow and keep an eye on things. I need to go home tonight and be with Aunt Mila during this time.”

Justin intertwined their fingers, giving a slight nod. “Alright, but if anything happens, call me immediately, no matter what time it is.”
