The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge (Anna and Justin) novel Chapter 2425

“Yes, Chairman Hoffman!”

The men quickly dispersed in all directions.

“I’ll go too!”

Bella turned to leave, but Justin grabbed her arm. “It’s too cold. Wait in the car.”

Ryan chimed in, “Bella, listen to him. Wait in the car. We’ll handle the search.”

“No… I have to go with you!” Bella sniffled, her nose red from the cold.

The cold wind stung her eyes, leaving them swollen and teary. “This is my fault. I was careless; I was negligent. If something happens to Yvonne… I’m responsible for it! It’s all my fault!”

“Bella,” Ryan said, his heart heavy as he witnessed Bella’s overwhelming guilt.

Justin stared at her pale face, his dark eyes rippling with subtle emotion. “It’s not your fault.”

Tears welled in Bella’s eyes as she shook her head. “Yvonne is everything to my brother. If anything happens to her, I will never be able to face him. I don’t deserve to be his sister. I have to go with you to find her.”

Unable to dissuade her, they had no choice but to let her come along.

All bundled up against the biting wind, Bella marched on ahead while the two men trailed close behind.

“Geez, she’s so stubborn and tough, but she’s still a young girl. Push her too far and she’ll snap.”

Ryan sighed, glancing at Justin walking next to him. “Bella has been through too much. She protects her family, runs a massive corporation, and still has to clean up messes for certain ungrateful men.”

Justin’s expression was cold and stern. “I’ve never asked her to do any of this. We’re nothing to each other now. She doesn’t need to do anything for me.”

Ryan couldn’t help but lash out. “Damn it, Justin! Do you even hear yourself? Did that illness make you even more heartless than before?”

Ryan could not hold back, throwing a punch at Justin’s shoulder.

Justin continued walking in silence, a heavy weight pressing on his chest.
