The Divorcee Who Shines novel Chapter 276

Chapter 276 Wandering Heart

After everything was done, Ranita sat on the couch feeling drained. What was the point of doing all this? She wasn't an impulsive person, so she spent half an hour arranging her things in the suitcase. She felt like crying, but her tears stubbornly refused to fall.

Ranita called Marlon and asked him about the matter she had previously entrusted to him. "It might take another half a month," Marlon said after a pause. "I'll urge them for you, but there are many assets involved, so it will still take some time."

"Are you feeling better?"

Ranita appreciated Marlon's concern.

"I'm fine," she replied with a grunt.

"Thank you again for what happened last time," she said gratefully.

Ranita didn't expect that asking Marlon to follow Turner would eventually save her life at a critical moment; she was truly grateful to him.

"Don't be so polite, Miss Bowman." After hearing about Wyatt's inheritance from Ranita, Marlon paused for a moment before continuing calmly, "Do you want me to handle this matter for you?"

"Yes!" After pausing briefly, Ranita added, "Maybe I need your help in coordinating with Mr. Adams; just let me know what I can do."

Marlon smiled and replied, "Okay, I'll help you handle it." Then he asked, "Have you thought about what to do with all that money? As they say, 'hoarding jade brings bad luck.' If you leave the Stuart family with so much money, the people there probably won't be happy."

Finally, Marlon explained, "Of course, I'm not talking about Mr. Stuart."

Ranita sighed and was about to speak when the doorbell rang.
