The Divorcee Who Shines novel Chapter 56

Chapter 56 Lemon Candy

"Holly, watch your words!" Ranita's face was cold and her eyes were sharp as she looked at Holly. "False accusations can lead to legal consequences!"

"Heh, you're just a translator. You talk about legal consequences like you're some big judge!" Holly sneered with contempt in her eyes. "You should take a look at yourself first."

Ranita knew that dealing with Shannon alone was already difficult enough, but now with Holly added to the mix, it was going to be even harder for her today.

"Heh heh, Miss Stuart, you talk about being qualified or not. Are you a big judge?" Ranita retorted calmly.

Holly was immediately provoked by this and said angrily, "Ranita, who do you think is unqualified? Do you want to die?"

"Threats and intimidation also come with responsibilities!" Pausing for a moment, Ranita's gaze shifted towards Shannon. The corners of her lips curved into a teasing smile. "Miss Murphy, it's getting late. Do we really need to waste time here? Otherwise, I can translate it for Mr. Semeraro right away."

"Ranita! You're joking! You know that Holly has an impulsive personality and didn't mean what she said." Shannon pulled Holly back while blinking innocently at them both, "Holly, maybe keep quiet for now."

Shannon sized up Ranita from head to toe while the latter wore slightly heavier makeup than before - white shirt paired with jeans and flat shoes - making her look intellectual without any flaws.

But Shannon had no intention of doing anything today anyway.

After all, yesterday had been enough trouble for Ranita! So Shannon felt very good today, "Mr. Semeraro is waiting inside already! Let's try our best to finish our work early today!"

Arthur saw Ranita looking great and gave her an enthusiastic hug, "Miss Bowman, you look amazing today!"

"Thank you!" With excellent bone structure, Ranita was made more handsome by heavy makeup. Her eyes were raised upwards, quite charismatic.

"I modified the song yesterday. Take a listen together with Miss Murphy!" Arthur proudly showed off his talent.
