"Sorry to have given you all such a show. I'd like to thank all the fair and impartial judges! A big thanks to Fragrance Frenzy and to Princess Matilda for holding this unique award ceremony! This is my third time participating in Fragrance Frenzy, and also my third time bagging the championship trophy. There's a world of mysterious and amazing fragrances out there waiting for us to uncover and experience! I hope I can work hard with everyone to create more miracles and design fragrances that bring happiness to all. My creation, Firefly, is already being produced locally. I believe it will hit the national market in three days. If you're interested in it, feel free to give it a try.
“Once again, I apologize! And thank you all for your support! I'm Chloe, also known as Star. Thank you!" After finishing her speech, Chloe took two steps back and bowed to the audience.
She was so calm, as if the violent person just now wasn't her. Only those who had seen her angry would know how terrifying that sight was!
Upon hearing Chloe's words, Lance, who was in the audience, trembled violently!
Even Carolina and Keira, who were on stage, looked up in astonishment amidst their deep sorrow.
Carolina was stunned for a while, looking at Chloe in disbelief. She stood up trembling, pointing at her, her voice stiff, "What did you just say? Your product has already started production?!"
Chloe just smirked, looking at the equally shocked Lance below, "What, is there a problem?"
"When did you start?!" Carolina growled.
Chloe continued to smirk, her voice calm but punctuated like a hammer full of iron spikes, "The first day I returned from the competition."
Carolina’s eyes widened in fear. Her whole body swayed, almost falling to the floor, "You knew all along that Keira wasn't the champion. You knew…"
"Of course I knew, but I couldn't stop her from arrogantly claiming to be the champion everywhere. Nor could I stop you from blindly trusting her! I even gave you my suggestion." Chloe cut off Carolina's words, her eyes full of pity and sarcasm as she looked at Lance, "I even suggested not to start producing her product in advance. At that time, you all laughed at my technical skills as inferior to hers, saying that I was unprofessional. But no one was willing to believe me! Now that things have turned out this way, who can you blame?"
Who to blame?
Lance asked himself, who could he blame?
All of this was his own doing, and he couldn't blame anyone.
However, Carolina was still angry, "Why didn't you ever say you were Star? If you had said it sooner."
"If I had said it sooner, would we have this great drama today? Keira directed this play quite well. If not for her..." Chloe held up her trophy, smiling at her, "If not for her, would I be here today? From now on, even if she is jealous of me, she won't be able to get anything that belongs to me! In this world, besides you, who would continue to believe her? I want her to taste the feeling of being abandoned by the world!"
"You!" Carolina was so angry that she was lost for words.
Chloe, however, smiled and bowed to the audience again.
