The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 146

He asked, "Does anyone know?"

With pale faces, the men exchanged nervous glances. No one dared to speak.

Matthew said coldly, "Since none of you will talk, there's no need for you to stay alive."

Terrified, they began yelling over each other to provide information.

"We don't know who that Heretic Medic was. But because it was difficult to find a doctor willing to engage in organ trafficking, Noah somehow found this guy. At first, we thought he was just a regular doctor.

"Later, we realized that he was good at fighting and quite an evil lunatic. If you crossed him, you would have ended up as one of his research subjects."

Another chimed in, "This place is on the southern outskirts of Lambda City. Noah picked this location. We're just his henchmen."

"We don't know why he wanted Medieval Medicine, but I think he was working for someone. Whenever Noah got drunk, he would complain about how difficult his task was. It seemed that someone else assigned the task to him."

"We've been on the search here for several years because of that medical literature. We have no idea who wants it."

Matthew listened to the scraps of information but gathered nothing useful.

The only thing he knew was that the Heretic Medic seemed to be an outsider brought in by Noah.

As for the true mastermind seeking Medieval Medicine—no useful information was revealed.

"I didn't hear anything useful from any of you. So, I'm going to kill you all. Remember—in your next life, don't commit such heinous acts."

With that, Matthew swung the knife in his hand, and blood splattered everywhere.

He then disposed of the bloodied knife.

As he stood amid the room full of corpses, he was suddenly stunned. In the heat of the moment, his anger had driven him to kill. He couldn't rid the fury in his heart otherwise.

However, a wave of guilt washed over him after killing them.

Those people deserved to die, but he still felt remorseful.
