The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 158

William didn't take the report seriously and casually extended his right hand. His movement was smooth and seamless.

"Young people enjoy the nightlife. No need to freak out just because Jeffrey's been missing for one night."

The household staff frowned. "Yesterday, I helped him contact that hitman, Jaiden. After Jaiden arrived, he brought him to kill Matthew. But there's been no news about him since then."

"What?" William couldn't carry on with his yoga session anymore. "What's going on? Why did he personally go to handle the kill? What were you doing? Why didn't you stop him?"

The household staff explained in distress, "I tried to talk him out of it, but he was determined to vent his anger. He also forbade me from telling you about this.

"I've been on edge all night waiting for him, but he hasn't returned. I think something's gone wrong."

William's face grew darker and more menacing, the skin around his eyes twitching like the bark of an ancient tree, giving him a particularly eerie look.

His dim eyes gleamed with malice. "If anything happens to my grandson, I'll wipe out Matthew's family! Find Jeffrey immediately! I want him here, whether he's alive or otherwise."

The household staff nodded, acknowledging the order, and quickly sent out a search team to find Jeffrey.

After the household staff left, William pondered momentarily, thinking it might be a good idea to call Jeffrey's older brother, Sheldon.

With that in mind, he grabbed his phone. "Hey, Sheldon? We've got some trouble back home."

In the gym, Sheldon's face twisted in annoyance. "Seriously, Grandpa? Can you stop lying to me? I bought into it a couple of times. But come on, how many times are you going to do this to me? Stop interfering with my ancient martial arts practice."

A mixture of emotions played across William's face as he realized that Sheldon was truly remarkable, excelling in both intellect and emotional depth—leaving Jeffrey far behind.

However, since Sheldon was exposed to ancient martial arts, it felt like he had delved into something dark and sinister.

William had never been fond of ancient martial arts; those who got involved in the violent practice often lived short lives.

Even if they did survive, the heavy toll on their bodies followed them for life.

In William's mind, Sheldon should have been living a life of leisure with the Smith family's wealth. Alas, they could not agree on the matter.
