Matthew emanated murderous intent as he spoke, scaring Rose. She wondered how he'd gone from being an obedient young man to a savage beast in a matter of seconds.
His murderous intent was almost tangible, and it made her heart tremble. It was only then that she realized he was mysterious, decisive, and ruthless. Most importantly, however, he was beyond her control.
Rose smiled daintily and gave him a foxy look. She said coquettishly, "Don't get mad, Matty. I just wanted you to give me some credit. You want to head to room 17, right? Let me take you there."
She linked arms with him and led him inside the bar. At the bar counter, the bartenders' jaws dropped when they saw her treating an unfamiliar man like that.
Rose was known for being ruthless. She would even smash a man's head open with a beer bottle. They'd never seen her act so ladylike. Yet, here she was, being so enthusiastic and warm to someone.
The bartenders couldn't help wondering who Matthew was and why he was worthy of her acting like that.
Rose led Matthew to room 17. "Here you are. Call me if you need anything, okay? All your expenses will be on me tonight."
Seeing that she was taking the initiative to make an amicable overture, he smiled and smacked her perky ass again. "You can come to me if you need anything, too. Since you're playing nice, so will I."
With that, he entered the private room. Rose's smile disappeared as she watched the door shut before her.
She couldn't tell how powerful Matthew was, and he hadn't fallen for her tricks, whether harsh or gentle.
Who could've trained him to become like this? And why was it that she couldn't find out anything about him other than the fact that he'd once set up a company and gone to jail?
She thought about him smacking her ass and suddenly blushed. Then, she bit her lip and mumbled, "You still couldn't resist me in the end. Hmph!"
