The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 186

"Why, you—" Rachel was so exasperated that she couldn't continue.

Just then, Tracy came in. When she saw the coffee on the table, she picked it up and downed it. Matthew's facial muscles twitched at the sight, but he didn't say anything.

Tracy had called Rachel earlier to let her know the problem with the herbs had been resolved, so the latter was in a good mood.

She teased, "Matthew's just taken a sip of the coffee, and he said it was a bit hot. Didn't you think so, Tracy?"

Tracy immediately caught her drift. The point wasn't whether the coffee was hot—it was that Matthew had drank from the same cup. Didn't that mean she'd… shared an indirect kiss with him?

The thought of it made her face flush. She swatted Rachel. "Why didn't you stop me? You just stood there and watched as I made a fool of myself!"

Rachel was taken aback. Something was off here. Knowing Tracy, she should've gotten mad at Matthew. Why was she being blamed?

Matthew stood up when he saw how they were acting. "You two chat. I need to step out."

Once he was gone, Rachel said, "You're always talking about teaching him a lesson. Why did you take things out on me today?"

Tracy couldn't help thinking to herself that she'd only treated Matthew like that in the past because she had no idea he was that powerful. Now that she knew what he was capable of, she didn't have the nerve to do anything to him.

There was also the fact that she knew Matthew's secret while Rachel didn't. For some reason, it made her feel a lot closer to Matthew. The slightest hint of a crush formed in her heart.

She pushed these thoughts away and pounced on Rachel. "It's all your fault for not reminding me. Try my boob-attack fist!"

They became entangled as they laughed and screamed. After a while, they finally settled down with their clothes messy and hair mussed up. They talked about how they were going to resolve this conflict with the Smith family.
