The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 192

Rachel's brows were furrowed tightly. "One of the shareholders who's supposed to be working with us on the production of the new medication wants to pull out. Hurry up and bring the car over so that we can go check out what's wrong."

Matthew scratched his head. "I can't bring the car over."

Rachel was confused by that. "Is it out of gas?"

He cleared his throat. "Uh, no."

She only became more impatient when she saw him hesitating. "Did you lose the keys? That's fine. I have a spare set in my drawer."

He sighed. "The car's destroyed."

This stunned Rachel. She stared at him anxiously and asked, "Did you get into an accident? Are you okay? Are you injured anywhere?"

She felt his arms before prodding him in the chest, seemingly checking to see if he was okay. This warmed Matthew.

The car had been expensive, but she hadn't asked how badly damaged it was. Her first reaction had been to check whether he was fine. It touched him.

"I'm fine. It's just that the car's destroyed."

Rachel patted her chest in relief, and she did it a little stronger than she usually would. It made her breasts juggle a bit, which made Matthew's mouth go dry. His fingers twitched, and he was close to doing something.

Rachel noticed the hungry look in his eyes, and she huffed. "Can you… not act like that? I'm worried about you, but here you are, thinking of taking advantage of me…"

Matthew blushed. "I… Well, I… You did make quite a big movement."

"Why, you—" Rachel flushed as well. Then, she said huffily, "That car cost 100 thousand dollars. I'll deduct it from your salary."

Matthew wasn't happy about that. "Hey, don't do that. How much can a driver like me earn? I need that money to put food on the table, you know. How about I… compensate you with my body?"
