The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 204

Matthew suddenly changed his mind and raised the blade. "Spill it. Where's Nelson?"

Terrified by the blade being pointed at him, Ethan hurriedly begged for mercy. "I don't know Nelson. Stop, I can't take this. I'm about to die. Please stop."

Matthew raised the blade above Ethan's head, seemingly about to strike at any second.

Seeing this, Ethan quickly came clean. "Alright. I'll tell you. Nelson was sent to Eastoria. He's still over there now."

Matthew furrowed his brows. He wasn't sure if Ethan was making stuff up, so he asked again, "Did he just go with you without a fight?"

Ethan was sweating bullets and trembling. "If he didn't cooperate, I'd have killed his whole family. That's why he didn't dare to resist.

"There's a camera at his place. As long as he does what's he told, he gets to see everything happening at home."

Matthew was convinced. Holding a person's family hostage was a real dirty trick. No one could hold out against that.

"Make the call and bring Nelson back right away."

Ethan shook his head. "I'm not in charge of Nelson anymore, so I can't free him. My word doesn't mean anything.

"It's so cold, and I'm about to pass out. Call a doctor immediately. I feel like I'm going to die. Please, save me."

As Ethan was speaking, he suddenly had a seizure and went silent.

Standing on the sidelines, Mason looked at the dead body with fear and trepidation. He approached Matthew and said, "Get out of here, Mr. Grant. Otherwise, you might end up in jail."

The bystanders ran away in fear. They were all afraid of getting into trouble.

Matthew tapped on Mason's shoulder and flashed him a smile. "Don't worry about running away. Ethan came for our herbs first, and I was just defending myself.

"Forget about what's happening here. Just go home and pretend you don't know anything about Nelson's situation."

Matthew had spoken to Ansel earlier about this, but Ansel simply replied, "You do what you need to do, and I'll take care of the rest."

Hearing Ansel's words was enough for Matthew to set aside his worries. He also had a clearer picture that Ansel must be someone important.

Ansel's mission might be bigger than just Nicholas' personal matters.

At that moment, Matthew didn't take Ethan's death seriously.

Mason was still a bit uneasy. "Seriously? This is a pretty big deal—"
