The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus) novel Chapter 482

Angie had more on her mind than just a relaxing soak when she slipped into the bathtub. No sooner did the water envelop her than she reached out and pulled James into an impassioned embrace, pressing her lips to his. "Honey, did you miss me?"

Feeling Angie's tender kiss, James took a sharp intake of breath. Even after all these years of marriage, Angie's fiery spirit hadn't dimmed one bit.

Although he was worn out from days of nonstop work, James didn't want to disappoint his darling wife. He summoned his energy, determined to make her happy. "Miss you, my siren? You've barely given me a chance to miss you, latching onto me the second I return. Alright, my love, let me fulfill your desires!"

He lifted her up against him, and Angie let out a surprised yelp as she felt his immediate, strong arousal. Her blood raced with excitement. "James, I've missed you so much..." she said, positioning herself. James gasped, meeting her lips in a fervent kiss.

The bathwater rippled with their movements.

After a tangled, passionate love-making, they returned to the bedroom for another round, eventually falling into a deep, contented sleep in each other's arms.

The previous night's fervor kept James asleep late into the morning until a sweet melody of a violin stirred him from his dreams. Opening his eyes with a slight smile, he knew that delightful music came from his most cherished, Vivian.

Sitting up, he donned his robe and opened the balcony doors, letting in the fresh morning air.

As he looked up to the top of their home, he saw a small silhouette. There was Vivian, dressed in a ruffled pink dress, playing her violin on the terrace, looking like an angel descended from the heavens.

James' smile shone brilliantly; having such a daughter was a man's greatest joy.

Vivian finished her piece and saw James awake, grinning brightly. "Daddy, did my violin wake you? Sorry about that."

With a smile, James gestured for her to come down. "Come to me."

Vivian nodded eagerly and bounded down to push open the door to James' bedroom, tossing her violin aside and jumping into his arms. Her dark eyes were fixed on him.

James held his daughter close, kissing her cool forehead affectionately as Vivian snuggled into his embrace. With a daughter who shared his genes and spirit, James felt his heart melt. Time spent with Vivian was always filled with joy.
