"Are you freaked out or something? We're not adults!"

Noella said calmly, "Whether we're adults or not, a quick check-up will reveal the truth. Appearances can deceive, but skeletal age never lies."

Ever since their last encounter, Noella knew something was off about that kid.

Spending time with Gavin, a genuinely innocent and sweet child, the difference between him and those other kids couldn't be more obvious!

"I've looked into a few cases before, like dwarfism and certain conditions where the body is stunted from birth. With some special training, they can completely disguise themselves as minors."

"There have been cases both here and abroad where people have exploited dwarfism to elicit sympathy, commit fraud, or worse. The skeletal structure of a person with dwarfism is entirely different from that of a normal child."

The heads of individuals with dwarfism are nearly the size of a normal adult's, but their body development severely lags behind, making the disproportion especially noticeable!

All these kids, without exception, had the distinctive feature of a large head and a small body. Even a close look at their faces would reveal they were adults!

Erek snapped his jaw shut and handed his phone to Noella, showing the information he just dug up. "Boss, this guy pretends to be Dan's son, but he's actually his brother, Louis, and he's over thirty."

"All your assumptions, but if you don't let us go, you can kiss those fabrics goodbye!"

"These high-end fabrics, they're not supposed to get wet, right? What if we were to pee on them? That'd ruin them completely!"

Noella remained calm.

"Those fabrics are costly. Destroying them could land you in jail for the rest of your lives, quite the bargain."

Louis shouted, "Even if we go to prison, you won't be able to use these fabrics anymore!"

Kitai said, "Oh, those fabrics are our own creation, expensive, sure. But we've got plenty more in storage, and they're not unique. Most importantly, we set the price, so it's up to us how much they're worth."

The batch of high-end fabrics ordered by Braden was too precious and had been immediately moved to a secure warehouse!

Braden nodded. "Go ahead, pee. After you're done, we still have plenty. The more you pee, the longer you stay in prison. Full board and lodging included, sounds perfect."

Noella glanced at Louis.

"Everything you've done will be uncovered too, thanks for reminding me about Dan's previous girlfriends. Thinking you can kill without consequences just because you're disguised as minors?"

They simply wanted to use the identity of minors as a shield!

"Dan used you to clean up loose ends, those women demanding too much alimony or just wouldn't let go, you 'handled' them quietly."

"Because of your 'son' status, those women didn't suspect a thing."

Many thought getting on good terms with Louis could make Dan reconsider!
