The Man in Power After Being Married into Her Family novel Chapter 1913

Harold felt as though he was about to collapse upon hearing these words! 3

When he saw Donald's bodyguards stepping forward and rushing toward him, he was so frightened that he subconsciously took a few steps backward and shouted, "Mr. Webb, what are you doing?! We... we were doing it because of you! It's okay if you do not appreciate what we have done for you, but why do you want to break both of my arms?!" 4

Donald exploded in anger, and he blurted out, "If you dare to say that you were doing it for me again, I will break both of your legs as well!" 3

Harold was horrified. Before he could even run away, h e had already been firmly pressed down to the ground by a few tall and muscular bodyguards. 5

Donald's bodyguards were no good men, and since their boss had already given his order, they would not hesitate at all.

Therefore, as soon as Harold was pushed down to the ground, one of the bodyguards picked up a brick from the ground before slamming it directly on Harold's shoulder.

Harold yelled out in pain, but before he could even finish screaming, he immediately felt a sharp pain coming from his other shoulder. Harold was in so

much pain that he felt that he was about to faint. 1

When Christopher saw his son getting thrown into such a miserable state, he hurriedly stepped in to intercede on his behalf as he blurted out, "Mr. Webb... Mr. Webb! My son only had good intentions. Even if he did something wrong, you do not need to treat him like this!” 1

Donald ground his teeth as he cursed angrily, "Both of you father and son are so full of bullsh*t! Come! I want all of you to break both of his arms too!”

At this moment, Donald knew that this incident couldn’t be hidden anymore. Therefore, he could only choose to please Carmen directly. 2

He wanted to do his best to prove to Carmen that he was innocent.

Therefore, at this time, if Christopher dared to say that his son was only doing it out of good intentions, wouldn't that be equivalent to dragging him into this matter too? 1

If that was the case, Christopher could not blame Donald for not giving him any face!

If he chose to break their arms, he would be proving their allegiance to Carmen at this time. 3
