Kathleen had no plans to renovate the place at first. She did not plan to live in it, either. However, her plans changed completely after knowing that
Charlie’s wife, Claire, had an interior design company.
She planned to renovate the place, but not for living. She wanted to use it as an opportunity to get to know Claire.
Charlie said solemnly, "Ms. Jane, since you’re planning to have a full renovation, the current interior Feng Shui wouldn't be a problem anymore. There's no issue with the house’s overall Feng Shui. As for the future Feng Shui, we'll need to wait until you've decided on the design. Then, we can make specific adjustments according to the design plan."
Charlie added, "Since you're hoping that your elders can live here with great health, I can give you some tips and suggestions."
Kathleen said quickly, "Mr. Wade, do share your tips with me."
Charlie explained, "It's best to choose a room that ensures longevity, preferably on the first floor for convenience. Try and get a room on the east side with a window. There's a saying where the good Chi enters from the east, and the same concept applies to one's good health and fortune. In addition, the room mustn't be too large. Otherwise, the occupants will lose their
energy very fast. In Feng Shui, a smaller room is said t o gather Chi easily. Also, the room should use less natural stone materials for renovation and decoration."
Kathleen was puzzled. "Mr. Wade, I understand most o f them, but why should we use less stone materials?"
Charlie replied, "Based on Feng Shui studies, stone materials are indeed good for Feng Shui in terms of wealth. However, as stones are naturally cold, they are not suitable for the bedroom. In fact, the coldness may affect one’s health.”
