She entered the country earlier than expected. It was before he told Liam Weaver to bring the Apothecary Restoration Pill to the United States, and before the Vintage Deluxe announced the news about the auction event for the Rejuvenating Pill.
In this way, Charlie could completely rule out the third possibility. She was not here for the Apothecary Restoration Pill. When she crossed the borders and landed in Oskia, the pill was not even out yet.
Thus, Charlie could rule out the Rejuvenating Pill as her motive.
However, he did not dismiss the possibility completely for one reason. Before they announced the auction for the Rejuvenating Pill, the Rejuvenating Pill was already out.
Lord Moore, Travis Lane, Albert Rhodes, Chandler Lennard, Yule Golding, and the old queen from the Nordic countries had taken the Rejuvenating Pill before.
Kylie might have heard about the Rejuvenating Pill before the auction announcement!
Therefore, Charlie narrowed down his guesses of Kylie's real motive to two possibilities after receiving additional information from Stephen.
She might have come for him because he was the
young master of the Wade family. If not, she might be here for the Rejuvenating Pill.
Charlie was leaning towards the latter out of the two possibilities.
While he kept his real identity as the Wade family’s young master as a secret, it posed no actual interest or benefit to many.
Only enemies of the Wade family would be interested i n his identity as the Wade family's young master. Other than that, knowing his real identity wouldn't bring any real benefit for most. It was even less likely for them to come to meet him at Aurous Hill simply out of curiosity.
With that in mind, Charlie focused on the Rejuvenating Pill. He tried to find the reasons behind Kylie's actions.
He noticed that Kylie's first stop in Oskia was not Aurous Hill, but Eastcliff. Assuming that she came for the Rejuvenating Pill, her first stop proved that the source of her information had to do with someone from the Eastcliff.
