The Man In Rage novel Chapter 1703

Gaius and Owen believed that Chu Sect and the Chu family are one and the same. Furthermore, Tang Yun was Chu Yuan's disciple.

Since they could not trust the master, they should not trust the disciple either.

However, Tang Yun ignored Gaius. She only looked at Ye Fan, waiting for him to make the final decision.

Ye Fan did not answer her question but asked, “What are you going to do if I reject your suggestion?”

“It's up to you. However, I will not just stand there and see the Chu family murdered,” Tang Yun replied coldly.

Ye Fan laughed upon hearing her. “It seems that I don't have a choice. Fine! Since it has come to this, I will give you a chance. The Chu family must come to China to apologize to my mother within a month. However, I have a question for you. What would you do if they failed to fulfill their promise after one month?”

“I will personally bring them there,” Tang Yun answered.

“Sure, you better remember your promise. If the Chu family breaks their promise and uses this opportunity to retaliate, I will spare nothing to destroy them!” Ye Fan said firmly.

Tang Yun nodded. “I understand. The Chu Sect would never do such a despicable act. Furthermore, as the leading family among the Three Families of the Chu Sect, they would not resort to such means too!”

Tang Yun was worried that Ye Fan still would not believe them. Therefore, she turned to Chu Yuan and sought confirmation, “Right, Master?”

Chu Yuan snorted and said, “Don't worry. If the Chu family wanted to kill someone, we would do so openly. Since we have agreed to your condition, we won't retaliate against you.”

Ye Fan finally nodded in agreement.

He turned to Tang Yun and said solemnly, “Apart from this, I still require another guarantee. I hope you can agree to this.”

“What is it?” Tang Yun frowned and felt uneasy as she had no idea what Ye Fan wanted.

“It concerns Angie. After we leave, I hope the Chu Sect won't mistreat her. She has the right to make her own decisions regarding her life. You must not force her to do anything or make her marry someone she does not love. Since Angie respects you, I hope you won't disappoint her,” Ye Fan answered.

Then, he glanced around the room and continued, “Furthermore, I won't have anything to do with Angie after today. If any of you have complaints, I'm the one you should look for.”

Many people could not help but tremble under his stern and icy glare.

He seemed like an honorable person.

Initially, Bill was worried, but he felt relieved after hearing what Ye Fan said.

In actuality, Bill kept feeling anxious the moment Ye Fan appeared.

He was worried that after Ye Fan left, the Chu family would blame today's incident on his daughter, Angie, and bring disaster to the whole family.

After all, no matter what kind of agreement Ye Fan and the Chu family made, one thing was certain.

Ye Fan and the Chu family would be mortal enemies from now on.

Angie had been siding with Ye Fan all that while. People would think that Angie and Ye Fan were in this together.

He did not doubt that the Chu family would make Angie's life difficult.

Now, Ye Fan had cut off ties with Angie and got Tang Yun to ensure her safety. Thus, Angie would now be safe.

However, right when the head of the Jones family breathed a sigh of relief, Angie began weeping.

She kept shaking her head and shouted, “No! Don't do this! Ye Fan, you are not allowed to abandon me.

You can't treat me like a stranger...”

B00...H00... Angie wailed.

She looked like a child who had lost her favorite toy.

However, Ye Fan stood firm with his decision.

He knew that if he continued their friendship, it would eventually cause her harm.

Therefore, he thought it was better to end their friendship here and then.

That way, Angie could grow up safely.

“Angie, stop it! This outcome is the best that you can hope for. Stop throwing a tantrum. You're making things difficult for everyone.” Someone from the Jones family rushed to persuade Angie so that she would not dash off to Ye Fan.
