She had been crying for 30 minutes but was afraid to disturb Ye Fan, so she didn't wake him up.

Now that Ye Fan had woken up, she could no longer suppress her emotions. She lunged right into his arms and howled sadly.

Her tears cascaded and wet Ye Fan's pajamas.

"Jingjing, what's wrong? What happened? You were perfectly fine just now. What's gotten into you?" asked Ye Fan helplessly. He had no clue what was going on.

"A divorce? Why divorce all of a sudden?"

"I... I don't know either. I just happened to hear Mummy talking to Daddy about this over the phone earlier," said Lu Wen-Jing as she sobbed.
