IT WAS FIVE in the morning when Isla woke up, but she was too lazy to get off her bed. It seems like her body wants to lie for a long. She doesn’t understand herself; it’s been three days since she started to feel something in her body, but she doesn’t know if it’s just because of stress.
It’s been a month since Zero left. As much as possible, Isla doesn’t want to think of him, but her traitor mind has its own will.
She tried to pull herself up, but her body won’t cooperate. She heaved a deep sigh and closed her eyes again, and suddenly, something rushed up from her stomach. Her stomach started to crumble, and she could feel what seemed like something that wanted to come out of her body. She began to feel nauseous. And even she was too lazy to get up, she moved down from her bed and rushed towards the bathroom.
She opened the lid of the bowl and puked inside. But she was surprised that nothing came out. And she started to feel dizzy.
She stood up and tried to demand herself to walk towards the bed, and she grabbed her phone and dialed Apollo’s number.
“A-Apollo… I can’t hold it—” she didn’t finish it when she suddenly fell on her bed.
“Princess?!” Apollo called her name, but she was not answering.
Fear suddenly jerked into Apollo’s heart. He glanced at his wristwatch, and it was just five-thirty. Having a bad feeling, Apollo grabbed his car keys and hurriedly climbed down, and went to the garage.
When he got inside his car, he started the engine and drifted away from their house.
In a few minutes, he arrived in front of Isla’s building. He pressed the elevator button and waited for it to open. When he arrived at the designated floor, he ran towards Isla’s unit.
He knocked a couple of times, but no one answered. Good thing he knew the password. As soon as he stepped in, he walked toward Isla’s room.
His eyes widened when he saw his sister—her half-body was on the body while her feet were on the carpeted floor.
“Shit!” he cursed and rushed towards her.
“Princess…” he tried to wake her up. However, Isla won’t wake up.
Nervous and fear lingered in his system. He carried his sister into bridal style and went down the building. When the guard saw them, he went closer.
“May I help you, Sir?”
“Please, accompany me towards my car. I’m going to rush my sister to the hospital,” Apollo said. The guard had already known Apollo for a long time. The guard then followed them, and he was the one who opened the car door in the backseat.
“Thank you,” Apollo said despite the nervousness that he was feeling at the moment.
Apollo then rushed Isla to the nearby hospital, and the doctor and nurses responded immediately. He followed them towards the first aiding area. The doctor started to check Isla’s vital signs and informed him that she was okay. It was maybe a cause of stress, but they will run more tests. So, Apollo requested that he wants a VIP room.
When they transferred Isla to the VIP room, and she still didn’t gain consciousness, Apollo called his mom.
“Where are you, mom?” he asked, and he pulled a chair and sat beside the hospital bed.
“I’m still in San Diego. How’s your sister? My flight is in the afternoon.”
Apollo sighed as he stared at his sister. “Mom…”
“Hmm?”
“Princess is in the hospital—”
“What?!” his mom’s voice roared on the other line. “What is she doing there?”
