JIVE into the sweet music that lingers inside the club, Isla sipped into her bottle. Becca is enjoying her night by talking to a man whom she met on her way to the restroom.
Zero on the other hand was talking to a guy named Fred. Now, she was left with her beer. It feels like she was ignored.
She heaved a deep sigh and drank the bottle of beer that she was holding. When she saw it, she didn’t even drink the other half while Becca already drank four or five bottles since they started.
“Isla…” Becca called her name, at last.
She arched her brow. “What?”
Becca chuckled and say something to the guy which makes the latter nod. Becca went closer to her and whispered something in her ear. “Are you sure you’re gonna be fine?”
She moved away and stared at her. “Why—”
“Well,” Becca interrupted and looked in Zero’s direction which she followed then gazed back at her.
“So, what are you implying?” she asked.
Becca stood up and shook her head. “Nothing. If I were you—”
“Don’t start, Becca. Just enjoy this night. Your guy is waiting,” she interrupted.
Becca let out a chuckle. “Yeah, sure. Enjoy your moment… with yourself,” she mocked.
She just rolled her eyes and stood up.
“Where are you going?” Becca asked.
“Restroom,” she replied and started to walk her way toward the restroom.
She admits, she’s getting bored and she badly wanted to go home and rest. She took a deep breath and sighed as she pushed the door of the lady’s restroom. She was about to close it when a hand stopped the door.
She looked up and saw Zero which makes her gasp. “What are you doing here?” she asked when Zero pushed the door gently as he stepped inside.
Zero didn’t reply and just keep on piercing his eyes on her. She moved backward when Zero closes the door and locked it.
It was at that moment that she knew what Zero wants.
“G-Becca might seek—”
“She won’t,” he replied, huskily. “And why are you leaving without telling?”
She arched her brow and crossed her arms in front of her chest. “Why should I—”
“We had an agreement and who knows who if you’re gonna find other men—”
“What?” she scoffed. “Ain’t like you, Zero.”
Zero smirked and walked forward which makes her move backward until her bum bumped into the edge of the counter tile.
