The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3098

He could not stand it anymore in the end. He turned and said to Fane, "These odds are nothing, so don't be so pleased with yourself! Everyone makes mistakes. The results will prove everything!"

Fane snorted, closing his eyes as he ignored Ethan which made Ethan even angrier.

He started at Fane and said, "You can keep on acting like this. The more you act like this, the happier I am. That's because you're about to kneel and beg me for mercy soon! However, I'm warning you. I won't let you off easy.

"Even if you kneel and plead for your life in front of me, I'll still torture you! I won't kill you so easily. I'll slowly torture you. There's no time limit to the death match after all.

"I have plenty of time to slowly torture you! I'll let you feel the greatest pain, and have you hoping for death. You’ll just see yourself slowly dying away!"

Ethan felt more and more excited when he said all that to Fane. His smile almost split his mouth in half. Fane turned to look at Ethan, who was smiling sinisterly and just felt incredibly exasperated.

He felt like there really must be something wrong with Ethan's mind. Talking to Ethan would only lower his own intelligence.

Ethan saw that Fane remained silent and merely looked at him with a mocking expression, and his rage burned even greater.

"I know you're actually already scared. You're just pretending not to care. I've already seen through your thoughts. Don’t think that I can't tell just because you’re acting this way!"

Fane's lips twitched, suddenly not knowing what to say. He felt like Ethan was living in his own world, feeling like whatever he said was definitely right. Fane only felt exasperation when dealing with those people.

In the end, Fane retorted, "You can think what you want. I can’t be bothered with you, but can you just shut up? I feel like I'm fighting against a complete idiot listening to you speak!"

Fane almost caused Ethan to start fighting right there and then. Fane’s words had been too hurtful, completely damaging Ethan’s heart.

Ethan's fists trembled in anger as his eyes almost popped out of their sockets. He clenched his teeth as he looked at Fane, wanting to rush right at Fane, "I will definitely have you begging for mercy!”

There was nothing else he could say at that moment. Thoughts of how he would torture Fane filled his mind. He wanted Fane to beg for mercy, repenting for everything he did wrong!

The crowd was incredibly happy with those arguments. Since there was nowhere to sit, Rudy and the disciples of the Pentagram Clan were waiting in the betting area. The moment the caretaker announced the odds, Rudy impatiently put five hundred thousand on Fane.

The disciples of the Pentagram Clan did not move at all. As the leader of that team, Trevor's expression was incredibly dark.

Sometimes, the odds would reveal certain problems. Before announcing the odds, Trevor had already thought about it. He felt like the caretakers would not have their odds be too far apart.

He felt like they should only be one decimal place apart at most, but the situation was unexpectedly worse than he thought. One side had double the odds.

What caused Trevor even more nervousness was the fact that Fane was the one with one to two odds, while Ethan's odds were one to four. From that, it was obvious that the caretakers felt like Ethan would lose. With that in mind, Trevor became incredibly worried.
