Before he could finish, Fane raised a hand and interrupted him, "Don't worry, I won't send you two to your deaths like that. You just need to look for chances to attack the beasts at the fringes."
At that moment, Rudy had hurried over from afar. Fane had arranged for Rudy to stay at a safer spot earlier instead of bringing him along when he first attacked the golden python. Since the situation was calmer, Rudy walked over.
Rudy looked at Fane and noticed that he was getting even more confused. Fane was just planning on dealing with the beasts that were at the sides, not wanting to bother with the strongest beasts that were at the center.
However, Fane clearly said that he wanted to be the final victor. His words and his current actions were a bit conflicting. If it was anyone else, Rudy would have thought they were just bragging. However, since it was Fane, he would not think that way.
Fane was not someone who would exaggerate things at all. No matter what, Fane had always said things as they were. Since that was the case, Rudy was even more confused.
However, it was not the time to talk about that. He merely looked on quietly.
Since the two warriors had agreed to work with Fane, they were forced to agree to his plans.
Furthermore, Fane had only told them to lure the beasts at the fringes toward him, which was much safer.
Calruz and Toren exchanged a look. Even though they could see the reluctance and worry in each other's eyes, it was too late for regrets. Thus, the two of them turned around and walked into the battlefield again.
After a few moments, two massive beasts chased after Calruz and Toren as they roared. Both beasts were evidently enraged.
