Octavius scoffed and said, "Do you need to ask? I told you you'd pay the price!"
Fane calmly continued, "Then, once I'm out of Cloud Valley, I'll participate in the fog battlefield with all of you."
It was not just Octavius, but everyone else who heard Fane was stunned as well. What was wrong with this guy? Was he unaware of what he said? Did he forget the results? He wanted to enter Cloud Valley with just 20% compatibility?
He even said that he would take part in the fog battlefield with them after coming out of Cloud Valley! Was he crazy?
Case was speechless at that, already sure that Fane was crazy.
There was no point in wasting his breath on a madman, but it was not like he could just not say anything. He would end up losing his pride if he held back. Case's lips twitched, wanting to rush forward to beat Fane up, but he was forced to hold back due to the laws of the place.
He gritted his teeth and said, "Are you crazy? Do you know what you're saying? Everyone saw your result, and you still want to enter Cloud Valley?"
Fane raised an eyebrow. "Did you drop your brain? There are two ways to enter the valley. Everyone else knows about that except you!"
Case's lips stiffened, feeling like he was about to faint from the anger. This guy called him brainless!
Of course he knew there were two ways to obtain the Valley Entrance Pass. If one was not compatible enough, they could try going through the Killing Illusion Array and needed to pass six stages for the pass.
This guy only had a 20% compatibility, yet he still wanted to try his luck on the Killing Illusion Array?!
Case refused to believe that guy would be successful. He did not even think about it, but the guy actually used that against him, much to his anger.
He started to pant as he looked at Fane intensely. He wanted to rip Fane apart.
Case gritted his teeth and said, "You only have twenty percent compatibility, and you're trying to brave the Killing Illusion Array?! You're really confident in yourself, aren't you? With that bit of compatibility, it's obvious how weak you are. Even reaching Cloud City is already your limit, and you're still trying to take up the challenges. Just be honest: are you mad?"
Fane raised an eyebrow, his face devoid of emotions. It was as if nothing Case said would affect him.
All of a sudden, Fane smiled and said, "I know you won't believe me, but that's fine. As long as you promise me that you won't change your mind, you can think whatever you want to."
Case's lips twitched, looking at Fane like he was sick. Octavius and Jimmy were the same as well. Everyone looked at Fane incredulously, feeling like he was psychotic.
Someone whispered, "Did this guy go crazy? He sounds like he's certain he'll be able to enter Cloud Valley. He even wants to go to the fog battlefield with those people. I don't think he even knows what the fog battlefield is! How else would he be this cocky? Does he want to die that badly, or is he just too confident?"
The person next to him laughed and said, "I can assure you, he definitely knows the rules of the fog battlefield. Anyone who reached Cloud City on their own would have received information about the city."
