After all, that really had been his judgment of Looney, and he had made an enemy of the squinty-eyed man because of it. However, the bearded man was definitely not someone willing to admit defeat that easily.
He clenched his teeth and said coldly, "It's not like you can say that my judgment was wrong. My analysis was sound, it's just that you're slightly stronger than I thought. After all, I've never seen you fight before, and I can't say how strong you actually are. The judgment I made was completely reasonable!"
The bearded man was trying hard to find an excuse for himself. Looney had a cold glint in his eyes, looking at the bearded man like he was looking at a dead man.
The squinty-eyed man could not stand it when he heard that, "Cut the crap! If the situation is different from what you said, you say you don't know how strong the other person was. You just keep on acting like you're so good at reading the situation. Even if the outcome isn't like you said, you're always the one with the most logic. You sure know how to come up with excuses for yourself!"
If the situation had allowed it, the squinty-eyed man would have rushed over to slap the bearded man. The bearded man's lips twitched as he gulped and said, "It's not as bad as you say…"
Before he could even finish, there were exclamations everywhere. The crowd turned to see that Fane had already started his attack. They were once again fixated on the scrolls, and the conflict was set aside.
At that moment, there were a hundred Soul Swords around Fane. The hundred Soul Swords were filled with the light of the soul attribute. Fane merged the hundred soul Swords into a single massive one, and Fane lifted the gray sword in his hand. With a wave, that Soul Sword started to hum and shake as it merged with the sword in Fane's hand.
The energy frantically merged into the sword, and the sword started to hum. Looking at the scene, all the warriors there seemed to take a deep breath at the same time. They had thought that Fane would stop for a moment. Yet, Fane had started to attack before too long.
He really was crazy. They could not figure out what he was doing at all. The five fighters immediately seemed to be triggered to move the moment Fane acted. They pulled out their swords at practically the same time, rushing at Fane.
The most shocking thing was that the steel-armored fighters were not just fighting at the same time, but even working together. As they rushed forward, they slowly fanned out to surround Fane causing Fane to not have an avenue to retreat at all.
The crowd gasped in shock at that, "These five fighters actually know how to work together. It means that it's even harder. I thought that Lane would be able to take a few blows, but it looks like he won't even be able to last a single attack. He can't even run away."
He could already see how Lane would be cut apart. It would definitely be incredibly bloody, but he deserved it anyway. Lane had signed up for it.
If it was the black iron difficulty, that guy might have been able to get to the third or second room, but he had decided to just raise it to the highest difficulty. Being killed in the seventh room was what he deserved!
