The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 4126

Ishak rolled his eyes at Morul, "It's impossible to tell no matter how smart you are. Figuring anything out requires clues before analysis, only then you would get an answer. Everything that happened earlier was just completely crazy–how could you expect me to figure anything out?"

Morul was just asking for trouble! When Fane heard what Ishak said, he looked right over at Ishak. Ishak did not look that special, but he seemed to have an intelligent mind. Even though he did not figure out an answer, what he said seemed perfectly reasonable.

Fane believed that as long as they could find a clue for Ishak, then he would be able to figure some useful things out. Wellis had an incredulous look on his face as he quietly sat by the side. He did not say anything, and it was obvious that everything that happened to him earlier impacted him greatly.

Fane frowned. He could not understand why Wellis seemed to be so shocked. Even though he had encountered some difficulties, there were not that many losses. As long as they remained careful after this, it would probably not be that dangerous. However, Wellis seemed incredibly serious, as if he thought of something horrifying.

Fane frowned and said, "Do you know something?"

He deliberately lowered his voice, and the others could not hear what he said. Wellis suddenly looked up, and various emotions flashed in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something but found himself at a loss for words.

Fane was even more curious at how Wellis was acting.

"Do you have some secret you can't tell anyone? Don't worry, as long as it doesn't affect me, I'll help you keep the secret. Furthermore, I don't think we're completely out of trouble yet. It's hard to be sure if we'll still be in danger after this."

Wellis took a deep breath. Naturally, he had his suspicions. However, some things were just speculation without any evidence. If he voiced it out, it might mislead others.

However, Fane's expression was very serious as he looked at Wellis. In the end, Wellis said, "This is just speculation, and I feel like it's quite absurd. I feel like someone's following me lately. Each time I try to investigate, I never find anything."

As he said that, he paused for a moment before taking a deep breath. Then he continued, "My intuition is usually spot on. Even though I've made a lot lately, I keep feeling like I'm not safe. I keep feeling like someone is observing me in the shadows. So, I've been exceptionally careful. After that, nothing much happened to me, so I gradually put the matter aside.

"I thought that the person who was silently observing me probably didn't have the guts to do anything. However, I can't be sure now. So many evil beasts were attacking us from all sides just now. It's obviously planned!"

Fane raised an eyebrow and did not say anything. Wellis' words calmed Fane down quite a bit. He had thought that those beasts were coming for him. After all, Fane had gotten himself quite a lot of strong enemies.

Those enemies absolutely hated him and wanted to kill him at any cost. He had thought that they would not do anything in this place, but after what happened earlier, Fane started to wonder. Wellis' words changed Fane's thoughts.

"Whatever! I don't care anymore if all of you want to stay here. I'm leaving. It's just too dangerous here. Something must have happened!" Morul said with a cold look on his face.

It was once again silent all around them after those words. Fane looked around and saw that everyone looked incredibly conflicted. They were suddenly struggling to make a decision. What happened caused them to change their views of the evil beasts and their own skills, but they were not willing to give up on the chance to earn more points.
