The Unwilling CEO's Love Game novel Chapter 36

Melvin held her hand and snuggled into her arms, "Feeling all good, huh?"

His breath overwhelmed her chest, and that damp, tingling sensation made her shiver all over. Jocelyn couldn't help but squirm a bit.

Such a movement seduced Melvin, who restrained himself and let out a groan.

Jocelyn froze on the spot.

"Stop alluring me! I'm worried you can't handle it," Melvin whispered, kissing her neck and wrapping his arms tightly around her waist, trying to get even closer.

Jocelyn stayed still and she never doubted his stamina for a second.

They lay in bed for a while longer until someone knocked on the door.

Jocelyn stirred slightly, "Someone's knocking."

"Let them wait," Melvin hugged her even tighter.

"I'm afraid it's Ursula." Jocelyn saw the light outside had already filled the room. It must be Ursula who would come looking for her.

Melvin was impatient and complained, "Just call her and tell her you're catching up on sleep."

With no other option, Jocelyn got up to grab her phone and coincidentally saw a message from Ursula inviting her to have lunch together.

And she asked Jocelyn to open the door in another message.

Jocelyn replied that she didn't sleep well last night and would skip lunch.

Then the knocking outside stopped.

Ursula teased. [Had a one-night stand yesterday night? Or anyone else is in your room?]

Jocelyn was stunned and she had to admire Ursula's sensitivity.

She played along with her words and replied. [Yeah, so it's not convenient.]

Ursula sent a "smirking" emoji, then told her to take it easy.

[OK]

Jocelyn answered and ended the chat.

Just as she was about to log out of Facebook, she suddenly saw Harrison's profile picture with his reply time at 7:56 AM.

After reading the message, she sighed helplessly, put the phone down, and lay back in bed.

"You touched my phone," Jocelyn stated the fact.

Melvin looked at her with open eyes, "Got the hots for that guy?"

Jocelyn raised an eyebrow and put some distance between them, "What do you think of him?"

"He's nothing special." Melvin pulled her back in and buried his face in her neck, belittling that guy in a buzzing voice, "Old man, he's got nothing on me."

Jocelyn thought he could be so shameless sometimes.

Tickled by his actions, she tilted her head, "Willow didn't look for you?"

"I turned off my phone."

Jocelyn pursed her lips and gave him a side-eye, "She must be freaking out, you not coming home all night."

"I don’t share a room with her," Melvin knew exactly that she was jealous, "She's here to shoot a commercial."

"You came with her?"

"I'm here for work."

Jocelyn huffed, "What a coincidence, huh?"

"You here for a fling?"

Both were retorting to each other with jealousy.

Jocelyn mockingly said, "Yeah, after getting dumped, gotta see if I can fish a new blonde. After all, I can't put all my eggs in one basket. Ouch... Melvin, are you a biting dog? That hurts!"

Jocelyn was in so much pain that dissolved into tears as she smacked Melvin on the back.

Melvin looked up at her moist eyes without a shred of sympathy, even feeling the urge to ravage her again.

Her tears made him even more excited.

"It was you who wanted to dump me, not the other way around." Melvin sat up against the headboard, taking the issue very seriously.

Jocelyn pulled the blanket up to her chest, determined not to let him bite again. She glared at him and asked, "You’re already with Willow, who knows what went on? Trust me, I won't cling to you."

Melvin reached for a cigarette, ready for a showdown.
