True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1087

Ever since Alice took over Sunny Group, her relationship with Jensen hadn't been as stable as before.

Heinz thought for a moment and said, "Although I don't know what's going on with Jensen, I can feel that he has changed a little recently. You have to give him a chance to get used to it. After all, your career is flourishing but he is still a low-ranked policeman, busy with cases every day."

Alice looked at Heinz with a bitter smile. "Heinz, you are also worried, aren't you?"

Heinz raised his brows, nodded, and said, "About Grace?"

"Yeah."

"Of course. I'm worried to death," Heinz said. "Although the doctor said otherwise, I am still worried, but I know that I can't scare myself. I must have confidence in Grace, and the twins."

"Even if we have to go through Grace's pregnancy in anxiousness?"

"Yes," Heinz repeated, "Even if we have to go through this in anxiousness, we have to cheer up.

Only then can we truly withstand the risk."

To Alice's surprise, her brother-in-law was much stronger than she thought.

She nodded. "Heinz, I also believe that Grace and the twins will be all right."

"If we keep our hopes up, I'm sure things will turn for the better." Heinz looked at her feet and asked, "Will you be able to walk now?"

"Yeah, I should be able to," Alice said as she moved her feet. "I'm fine now."

"Let's go then. Grace should be worried about you." Heinz said, "I was planning to surprise your sister with a wedding this weekend, who would've thought a shock would come before the surprise."

"Heinz," Alice looked at Heinz and said, "Thank you so much."

"I'm not used to your sudden politeness," Heinz said. "You should go back to being the Alice you used to be."

Alice shook her head and apologized sincerely, "Heinz, I'm sorry for my actions in the past. I know I had gone too far. Because I was worried about Grace, I had always been rude to you."

"It's all in the past." Heinz didn't take it to heart.

"You say that, but this had always bothered me. Whenever I think about how I treated you in the past, I'd always feel bad. Especially now that you are helping me and the Sunny Group, I can't believe how immature I was."

"Silly girl," Heinz said. "Let's leave that in the past. Don't think about it anymore. You shoulder a lot of unnecessary burdens, don't you? It's not good to keep everything in your heart."

"I won't mention it again after today, but I will still keep it in my heart. I know how much you care about Jensen and me."

"Jensen is not as strong as you think. There should be a mutual understanding between you two. After all, you have a long life ahead." Heinz sighed and said, "Who knows what will happen in the future. You should cherish every moment before anything bad happens."

Alice just smiled and did not say anything.

The two of them returned to the ward together.

In the corridor, they saw Jensen standing at the door looking depressed. It didn't seem like he was planning to enter the ward anytime soon.

Heinz and Alice came over.

"What are you doing standing here? Guarding the door?" Heinz said bluntly. He looked at Jensen, who seemed to be quite depressed. "If you don't want to go in, then you should go and take a look at Quinn instead."

Jensen looked up and saw Heinz and Alice.

He looked at Heinz blankly. He wanted to speak but stopped on second thought. Then, he looked at Alice. He parted his lips but did not say anything either.

With one look at him, Alice regained her calmness.

Jensen was secretly shocked. Alice seemed to have changed completely.

She was no longer the little girl he knew. Now, even if she had shed tears, she would quickly recover and be able to face everything calmly.

It had only been less than 20 minutes and she was already able to regain her composure after crying in the garden.

This was Alice Smith. She had grown immensely while he seemed to have regressed.
