True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1132

"Yes!" Yvonne nodded and began feeling hopeful, "Whatever it is that you want, I will do it."

"Okay, I want you to be my mistress," Zachary said in a deep voice.

She felt a buzzing sound in her ears and she froze.

She stared at him in shock.

"Be my mistress for a year. Throughout the whole year, you have to be ready whenever I summon you. When it comes to our daughter, we can pretend to be loving parents in front of her. Also, you won't be allowed to leave Northern City or you'll never see our daughter for the rest of your life."

She wanted to ask why she couldn't see her child.

However, she didn't dare to as she was afraid that he might take away her chance of meeting their daughter again.

However, becoming his mistress was such a humiliating thought.

They used to be so loving and innocent as childhood sweethearts, and yet their fate to get together was destroyed seven years ago.

When it was destroyed, she was both defiant and willing to leave at the same time. She could never tell him the reasons behind her departure back then, but deep down, she knew that he was the only one in her heart. In the past, present and even in the future, it would always be him.

He probably wouldn't believe that she truly wanted to be with him for the rest of her life.

To become his mistress?

Actually, this idea used to cross her mind.

In this world, there weren't many opportunities for one to recover upon missing it.

She deeply understood that if she wanted to be with him again, she had to lower her ego and dignity. She would have to endure his harassment and scolding without complaining. This way, she could finally become stronger and be with him. She knew that this would be the price that she had to pay in order to be with him again.

Yvonne went through a fierce struggle internally for a short period of time, which ended with her not caring about her ego anymore. She was willing to become his mistress.

She took a deep breath and took a step forward. She looked up at him, and her eyes seemed determined as she spoke, "Zachary, I agree to become your mistress. I promise that I'll not leave this city for the entire year."

He frowned again. Originally, he thought that a proud woman like Yvonne would never agree to such things, but somehow, she did.

He realized that he would be angry if she agreed to his deal, and even angrier if she didn't agree to his deal. He felt really frustrated.

He couldn't find a way to vent his anger at all, so he could only glare at her. She suddenly reached out and grabbed his collar, and leaned forward to get a little closer to him.

Word-for-word, she said, "Zachary, you asked me to become your mistress, but that's not actually what you truly want, is it?"

He froze for a moment.

She continued, "What you truly desire is me and my body. Perhaps, there's love between the both of us, and you merely wish to look for a proper reason to make things official."

Upon hearing this, he was completely dumbstruck.

Her voice was low and full of ambiguity, which made him tremble upon hearing it.

However, her words made him feel embarrassed of himself as well.

In the next second, Yvonne lowered her voice and said word-for-word again, "Just admit it. You want me. That is why you resorted to this scheme, so that you can humiliate me, achieve your desire, and also fulfill some of our child's wishes."

"Look, even a stubborn man like you learned to resort to such low schemes, what else is there in life that is impossible?"

"Zachary, if this was the result that I've caused, I'm truly sorry about it. All I wish is for you is to be able to find true joy and happiness."

Looking at him like this, she actually felt sorrowful and depressed.

He remained silent. He didn't want to admit anything, but he was panicking internally.

Yvonne was right; he truly desired her.

He desired her deeply.

Yvonne seemed to be able to guess his internal thoughts and struggles. She leaned closer and hugged him at the waist. She could instantly sense some of his bodily changes.
