The man walked toward Zachary's direction and nearly brushed past him. He smiled slightly but did not look at Zachary at all.
Zachary frowned. The moment the man passed by, Zachary directly asked, "Excuse me, Sir, how should I address you?"
The man was taken aback. He stopped, smiled, and said, "Mr. Lowe, you're too polite. I'm just Mr. Trevino's assistant."
"Fabian Trevino?" Zachary blurted out the name in an instant.
More than a year ago, Yvonne left with a man named Fabian via a chartered plane and went to the United States.
After that, it was difficult to investigate Fabian. All the information related to him seemed to have been hidden deeply.
Zachary felt that it was Fabian who deliberately concealed Yvonne's whereabouts and tracks.
Now that this person who claimed to be Fabian's assistant was here. Zachary was not surprised, but he shifted his gaze to Yvonne.
When Yvonne heard the name "Fabian Trevino", she was stunned. Zachary was actually aware of his existence.
Then he definitely knew she had left with Fabian a year ago.
Yvonne pursed her lips and looked away from Zachary. It was obvious that she was slightly guilty.
Zachary's gaze sharpened. He cast Yvonne a glance, then looked at Fabian's assistant with a cold expression.
The man smiled and nodded, "Yes, that's Mr. Trevino."
Zachary smiled gently with an icy-cold posture, "Mr. Trevino sure is mysterious. Why is he here in Northern City now?"
"Mr. Lowe, you sure know how to joke." Fabian's assistant smiled modestly, "Mr. Trevino is just keeping a low profile. He doesn't want to be disturbed by those who are irrelevant."
Zachary's brows were tightly knitted into a cold frown.
Yvonne immediately shouted in a low voice, "Shelton, you should go first."
The assistant by the name of Shelton glanced at Zachary before nodding slightly and strode away. His actions were filled with a deep sense of alienation.
Zachary remained where he stood and looked at Yvonne silently.
Yvonne knew that she couldn't hide that forever.
She'd have to explain.
She cleared her throat and walked towards Zachary. Looked up at him, she said, "Zachary, let's go inside. It's a little cold here."
Zachary finally couldn't help but chide in a cold voice, "You still don't want to explain yourself?"
Yvonne saw that his gaze had grown sharper. It seemed that he was angry, furious even.
After a few seconds of silence, he said in an even colder voice, "Yvonne Attwood, how many secrets do you exactly have?"
"Zachary, Mr. Trevino and I are just friends." Yvonne spoke, "Don't think too much about it. Thanks to Mr. Trevino's help, I was able to survive in the United States. Otherwise, without him, I might not have been able to survive."
"Ha, it seems that Mr. Trevino is your benefactor now. He can provide you with everything you want."
Zachary's tone was ironic and his question was full of sarcasm.
Yvonne could hear his sarcasm, and her heart was also filled with rage. She felt slightly sad and couldn't help but retort, "You think it's fun to say those things to me, don't you? It's addicting for you, isn't it?"
Zachary was even more irritated, and his tone was even ruder, "Yvonne, you went missing with a man for more than a year, and now you're telling me that you're just friends with him. What do you want me to think about that?"
"You can think whatever you want." Yvonne said in a low voice, "Our relationship is not as filthy as you think. You don't have to believe me. It's up to you."
Their loud bicker on the balcony attracted the attention of other people.
Yvonne also seemed to have sensed that something wasn't right. She quickly lowered her voice and said, "I don't want to argue here. If there's anything, well talk about it when we get back home."
