True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1178

Yvonne was taken aback again, and her mind was blank. She had never dared to call herself Zachary's wife even when she was with Zachary.

Embarrassment and awkwardness flashed across her face, but Xandra didn't seem to be joking no matter how she looked.

"Miss Harrison." Yvonne twitched her lips awkwardly. "Who did you hear this from?"

"Do I need to hear from someone else? Is it necessary to ask who said it? Since you are already the wife of the president, why are you still pretending to be innocent? Look at your innocent act, it's obvious that you are pretending. You are the best out of all the people I've seen pretending." Xandra said a lot of sarcastic words in one go, which made Yvonne feel even more helpless.

However, if she was able to say such words, it would mean that someone must have said something to cause Xandra to misunderstand.

But who could it be?

For a moment, Yvonne was unable to identify.

After thinking for a long time, she was still unsure of who could have said it.

Xandra snorted and said, "What? Is it because you find the president's admirers annoying after you've become Mrs. Lowe, so you deliberately do this to embarrass us?"

"You're mistaken." Yvonne explained, "I didn't want to embarrass any of you."

"Then how do you explain the fact that you're Mrs. Lowe?" Xandra retorted.

Yvonne was helpless and said, "Can you just tell me who told you this?"

"The president," Xandra said in a low voice with an attitude that wanted to render Yvonne speechless.

Yvonne was indeed speechless. Her mouth was agape; she looked completely stunned.

Zachary said it?

How was this possible?

When had she become Mrs. Lowe?

Yvonne looked at Xandra dumbfoundedly for a long time and didn't know what to say.

"Mrs. Lowe, since I know you're the president's wife, I understand where I stand. You don't have to keep on pretending. I won't covet your man anymore." Xandra said coldly, "If you still think we are an eyesore, we will resign." "You're mistaken." Yvonne hurriedly explained, "Miss Harrison, I didn't mean to hide it from you. I'm truly surprised."

"Hmph!" Xandra had made up her mind not to believe in Yvonne's words.

Yvonne tried her best to show a friendly face. "Miss Harrison, I'm telling the truth, it's not what you think."

"It's not what I think? Then how should I think? You're married to the president and even gave birth to his child, so you're the mother of the president's child. The president admitted all that himself. Do you still want to deny it? We already know about it, why do you still want to pretend? Do you know how ugly you look pretending?" Xandra was even angrier at the fact that Yvonne still acted innocent even now. She felt as if she was insulting her intelligence.

Zachary admitted it.

Yvonne knew that no matter what she said, it would be hard for her to change Xandra's mind.

She gave up after some effort. She looked at Xandra and said flatly, "Miss Harrison, I don't need to explain nor do I have the obligation to do so to you."

"You!" Xandra looked at Yvonne and laughed coldly from anger. "Aren't you just the president's wife? Mrs. Lowe is too great. We can't afford to offend her, can we?" "That's right, you can't afford to offend me." Yvonne looked at her sour expression and said bluntly, "If I really am Mrs. Lowe, you really can't afford to offend me."

Because Yvonne knew that Zachary would not let anyone bully his wife.

But she was not Mrs. Lowe.

She was just the mother of his child.

She still could not fully comprehend if he had forgiven her, judging by his attitude.

"Stop acting." Xandra scolded, "You look like a dumb b*itch when you're acting."

"Whether I'm acting or not, I've already announced that Zachary is mine. You did not believe me yourself, what could I do? Now you've come to accuse me instead, who are you to question me? Do you have the right to do that?" Yvonne looked coldly at Xandra. She looked at her increasingly angry expression with disdain.

Xandra was sad that she could not have the love she wanted. She was embarrassed to have such an undignified crush.
